AAUW Delegation to Poland
November 1 – 9, 2014
The American Association of University Women is organizing a delegation to visit Poland for the purpose of learning about the life of Marie Curie. AAUW is proud of the role the organization and our members played in supporting Curie’s work and in welcoming her to New York City during her triumphant tour of the United States. This opportunity to walk in her footsteps will convene in Warsaw, Poland, on November 2, 2014, and will return on November 9, 2014.

The AAUW Women in Society Delegation is an important opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue with other organizations interested in women’s issues, and we need your participation to continue the rich tradition of exploring opportunities to bring the world back home and build a global community of women. As we learn about the life and work of Marie Curie, we will meet with organizations, institutions, and groups that share our passion for education and STEM in addition to enjoying the architectural glories of Warsaw.

This AAUW project is a private-citizen effort, thus team members are responsible for their own program costs. For more information about this program please visit the itinerary tab.
