We are privileged to have our Sun Post Journalist, Fred Swegles, who will do his very popular slideshow program covering 35 years of reporting on San Clemente. This is very much in keeping with our 50th birthday year, since Fred graduated from San Clemente High School, several years after its opening. SCHS is also celebrating 50 years of existence this year.
The public is invited, so bring your spouse or someone interested in joining AAUW. We will have heavy
hors d'oeuvres, coffee/tea/beverage and a not-host
bar followed by cookies.
This venue requires exact numbers 10 days in advance, so please respond by October 6.
Send your checks, made out to AAUW-SCCB tor $22 to Mary Borger, 5 South Montilla, San Clemente, CA 92672.
Directions: Exit the 5 south at El Camino Real (exit 74). Turn left onto El Camino Real and go 0.8 miles and turn left onto E. Magdalena (next to the Hampton Inn). The Golf club is on your right, parking is across the street.
